Mentorships

EACH ONE TEACH ONE

Producer Mentorship applications will reopen soon.

Producer Mentorship applications will reopen soon. ✯

Our mentorships are designed for those from historically marginalized communities who both want to be producers and have some significant industry experience. Mentees will shadow producers on a production, fully immersed in the planning and execution of a project from development through delivery, depending on the project and schedule. With a commitment of 16–24 weeks and a stipend award of up to $25,000, this is a rare opportunity to observe, collaborate, and document while receiving significant support. Upon completing the program, mentees should have the knowledge, context, and preparation to serve as line producers and will receive an Assistant Line Producer credit for their service on the film.

The first placement will be on Save Yourself!—an urgent, irreverent climate justice documentary now in production. The mentor team includes Effie T. Brown and Bryce Cracknell. More project opportunities will be announced soon.
