Our internships are designed to give you a fun and rewarding introduction to either the entertainment industry or nonprofit organizations while you are still in college or grad school. Two different opportunities are available for credit for summer 2023.
CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION INTERN
with a production company:
Responsibilities
Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Read approved script submissions and provide written summaries and analysis for executives
Engage in project-based research and special assignments
Assist producers with development, pre-production, production, or post-production work as needed
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT INTERN
with GC Nonprofit:
Responsibilities
Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist with the preparation and launch of programming through research, design, branding, advertising, and recruitment
Assist with communications, including content generation and updates for website and social media
Assist with fundraising activities, including donor research, gift processing and acknowledgment, and donor stewardship
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
FOR BOTH INTERNSHIPS:
Qualifications
Enrolled in an accredited college or university
Identify within one or more historically marginalized communities as a person of color, disabled person, LGBTQIA+ individual, or woman
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suites
Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to travel to our office in Glendale, CA two days per week (schedule flexible to accommodate courseload, with preferred availability: 10am to 4:30pm)
Maintain confidentiality of organizational and/or donor data
Embrace and display understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility principles
Additional Considerations
Prior film and/or television creative development experience; please specify if the experience was on narratives or documentaries (Gamechanger Films produces both)
Familiarity with programs such as Airtable, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite
Social media savvy (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.)

LOCATION: Glendale, California
JOB TYPE: Internship, Part-time (120 hours: 12 hrs./wk. for 10 wks.)
COMPENSATION: unpaid; will work with schools to coordinate course credits
BENEFITS: Free parking
TIMEFRAME: June 5, 2023 – August 11, 2023
